do you have a real religion? if nto just convert and be a christian but dun do anything christian lor satisfies her and no inconvenience to you.
oh the other hand i feel your gf is dumb(no offense), obviously she can't see past some words written/handed down by some person/s. either she doesn't really love you or shes a fanatic. hmm maybe if you can speak to the head priest and get an official waver
main issue is she has no business trying to convert you by force. i suggest you guys have a talk about this and decide to break or not at this point of time rather than draggin on till god knows when. -

Haiz... the problem is that I love her and she loves me. I'm quite sure I'll marry her eventually and I suspect the same for her. She's a staunch Christian and I'm a staunch Free Thinker... She's going to continue to try and convert me and I'm going to continue to refuse... Can this kind of relationship survive in the long term?

Some took religion as a way of life and not simply as a belief.
But I do have friends & relatives that eventually converted their other half to Christianity. I said 'eventually' b'cos some took 10, even 20 years. The time is about right when they have their own children, undergoing crisis, or in their twilight years. -

Try abstaining from sex with her for 1 month and all other physical activities like petting, frenching and kissing and see if your "love" prevails after this one month.
It may be a case of hanging on to a physical enjoyment rather than true love -
Ask her 2 simple questions. Do you love me, or do you love your religion? When you marry, do you marry because you love the person or do you marry because of religion?

Temptations are test to faith, to personal principles and other stuff that matters. Pre-marital sex by itself has no Good nor Evil notion to it - it's merely freewill and choice.

Secondly, to your girlfriend. I seriously think she needs to reconsider her position. It is of no point threatening you to leave for a christian. But it is more than just putting "Christian" in the religion column that makes you christians. It is the life you lead as a christian, not the title you carry, that makes you a christian. What the point of forcing you to be a christian? To ease her own guilt? To make herself feel better? To make things easier? Relationships do not work that way.
As for the sex thing, i am against pre-marital sex. But its again your choice and hers. Sex is a beautiful thing. It is meant to be enjoyed between a married couple. But in your case, It should never be used as a consideration or tool to force another party to stay in a relationship.

It happened to me b4.. in my previous r/s, my ex somehow became a Christian, a very devout one...and he tried dragging me to the church and stuffz.. and when I refused, He said " You either choose my religion, or lose me". I was so freakin pissed man... I left him for good. -
