Over the years, some have turn wild while some have not.
Those turn wild will like to have fun. Everything is on the guy expenses. Our environment is create as such. Take for example the pub, karaoke, etc.
It is easy to me in love for women and break off at the same time. Most of these women made guys suckers. They just spend the money away. Without knowing what is happening.

If you don't want to be friend ONLY, cease behaving and treating the girls as friends ONLY.
Instead, make small gestures to suggest that you can be more than just friends ONLY.
Did you compliment that new hairdo?
Did you ask about that necklace / ear-ring?
Were you cheeky at times, or plain nice all the time?
Did you do something romantic, or just plain friendly gestures all the time?
etc etc
Girls take mental notes of guys from the beginning of knowing that guy. They then feel instinctively whether that guy is someone she want to pursue a romantic interest.
So, make as many friends as you want, but remember to drop hints that you are boy-friend material if you want to be more than just friend ONLY.
