if you are really so anxious about getting rid of the parasite, you can adopt drx ideas, but be prepared to suffer a bad reputation. Others will say you are hard-hearted or born cheap act class or something like that as now the scnerio is that the guy is the victim.
if you are not so anxious, just leave it as it is. Ya, the fire will burn out.
one more idea to add to drx list, you can counter attack, how? since he pestered your friend right? you can start telling to everyone you know that this guy kept pestering you and it making you go crazy,(will be good if you can shed some tears) tell that to some of his friends, then adopt the ideas from drx list. ppl will not bad mouth you.
"make yourself look like the victim" he will suffer the bad reputation for making girls go mad and crazy.
