it should not matter.... every1 makes their own living and guys shouldn't be peered pressure to pay out of their limits for everything for a girl unless he dumb dumb wants to... ha ha...
if u just knew a girl and say you guys hang out abit, its ok to buy the girl a drink or snack but to pay for big ticket items, not necessary at all. spoil the gal and in future every outing oso xpect u to pay thru your nose....

In a relationship, usually the girl is likely to be taken advantages off. I mean you kissed her, fondle her b, have sex with her, then must pay lar! where got free lunch one.
If you pay for her, but she won even let you do this or that. then you just judged whether it is worthy, afterall it is always a 2-way thing.

Hmm... guys normally pay for me when we go out but, usually it ends up either I pay, we go dutch or he pays for this meal and the next meal on me. Thus, no prob for me!
I guess its just leave a good impression of yourself if you offer to pay during the first date. Later on, I think the girl will more or less be more "zi dong" and offers to go dutch or take turns to treat. My views.
