Then he'll try to help her again, get his head blasted off, then they'd quarrel again

She was never really happy for us, always tried to plant doubt in my mind about my guy.

I always believe in throwing people into the hot caldron before explaining myself. So far, nobody died as a result.Originally posted by M©+square:Glad you agree with me
Hear Hear Dev,
It's time for me to stepdown and allow a greater counsel to rise.
Feowfeow: I'm glad not many people come to me for advises.
Firstly, it maybe because i'm a guy and i don't give powerful analysis.
Or my advises in thread already turn them off.
Well, too many people are asking for advises with closed heart.
Selective advises they take.
That's why you don't see my post flying around.
Let the foolish wait. Their ideals are too much for them to realise the truth of higher living, the light which awaits them.
They dwell within themselves till a point when everything only revolves her/him.
Sane they are. But lost to time which ticks regardless of decisions.
You did your best i believe. Walk on.
Cheers
Everyone loves a sad story. If you made a movie in Korea bout it, it will be a blockbuster hitOriginally posted by Love Story:I was looking through all the replies and did not expect so many people to respond. Some of them were fruitful. i will be coming to Singapore again . Was here in 2004 too but only a few hours to talk to her during transit. The last time i was here and got the chance to look around was in 1997. Went to Ang Mo kio and saw a big school campus there and the forested areas are gone. Many things have changed. And it is surprising Mr. Lee Kuan Yew still the PM?
Today is saturday, wish a good weekend for all

I got to agree with u. But my decsion to leave the country had helped me. when I was in the US, the nature arund me had an healing effect, something which is lacking here in Singapore as u all know why. Back in the 80s we had more nature in Singapore. But as i am expecting on my next visit, those will have gone by now. Except maybe the SAF training areas like Sungei Gedong or Lim chu kang.Originally posted by Magnus:Guess your love for her have never died but remain domant all this years.
During your darkest hours, she's probably your source of strength & motivation even though it's one-sided. Has it been so much, so long that it became a habit?
Sometimes as we grow older (i am the same age as u), we bring along more & more emotional baggage. We have to pysche ourselves to lighten up & move on.
we have changed PM twice !Originally posted by Love Story:Mr. Lee Kuan Yew still the PM?
is there a need to think that this is a wonderful, true-to-love, touching love story???Originally posted by Magnus:Guess your love for her have never died but remain domant all this years.

this is one guy who is not able to let go after all these years ... probably due to his inability or want to move on... or just besotted with the idea that she might be the one...
can it just be stupid instead?![]()
Yeah, somethimes we do hold notions that in reality deemed impractical. But it spurs us on.Originally posted by FeowFeow:Stupid is too strong a word... Probably the guy just refuses to admit that he never did stand a chance & never will. There're some people who fall in love, & there're some people who fall in love with the notion of love. This poster probably falls into the latter category
