For some people, life begins at 40 when they have accumulated some money and still retain the health and energy to do what they have always wanted to do. It all depends on your attitude.
Have known some women above 30 who have had their fill of young punks and are now only attracted to older mature men. Unfortunately most such men are no longer available, so that probably puts you in a favourable position. Besides, your experience of a previous failed marriage should also make you wiser with your choices this time.
Be confident in yourself -- women like that in a man. Good luck.

See open. People say all kinds of hurtful things out of spite. Maybe she was saying things to hurt you so that you could harden your heart to leave her. At least she sounds better than a woman one knew who had to sleep with another man so that her separated husband would be forced to give her up. -

anything is possible... seriously it is easier for a man to fall in love at 40 than a woman at 40...cos most men their age are looking for younger women.... but all things are possible...

you know the thing about men maturing slower then gals... that may make older men seem more alluring to gals than men their own age...
