indeed, most of the time, personal experience helps shape the person's actions. sometimes, advice might work for some people, and for some, advice just seems to be useless even though its from the best advisor in the world. it all boils down to your own personality, how you react to problems, whether you feel good by doing it yourself or with help from others.. as for me.. i welcome advice.. but i always dont use them unless i have the same gut feeling
