Money can be a sensitive issue. Obviously, she can't expect you to pay for everything she needs/wants, so maybe you need to gently talk to her to tamper down her expectations. if you're the oldest daughter, you're generally in for deep sht... you got to:
do the chores (just for being a girl)
tutor your pesky brothers (especially if you're in JC or Uni)
give tuition and earn money (and give brothers allowance and mum utilities)
listen to mum Bitch about her life sometimes (cos you are a daughter mah, bor bian)
make sure your brothers don't smoke, drink, do drugs etc (cos if they do, it's your fault. actually, anything they do wrong is your fault. so deal with it.) -
1. First, you got to be a megalomaniac. It comes from the pampering in your early years that was brutally taken away from you the moment you switched from ONLY to ELDEST child.
2. Second, learn to exert your sphere of influence. Bully, coerce, cajole, force. If you want that tricycle.. it blardy damn be yours.
3. Third, be secretly insecure. This streak of inferior complex combined with the forceful personality of wanting your way done all the time makes you a potential candidate for world domination.
4. Fourth, Have a sweet sibling. One of those younger, selfless, giving, kind hearted sibling that gives in to you all the time. (or else). It is their way of self preservation.
5. Fifth, Be Overweight. An informal study I made realised that many oldest/eldest are overweight in their family. It comes from having to having your foot in your mouth, eating your hat, and swallowing your pride too often.
6. Last, face the fact that history, psychology and religion are all against you. Cao Pi finally swallows his pride to admit that he is a megalomaniac and Cao Zhi is is intelligent sensitive giving your brother. Cain didn't stand a chance against Abel. -

Being the eldest, deligate household chorres 2 d rest of ur siblings. Set gd eg. 4 them. Teach them school work if they hve problems. Talk 2 them if they hve luv problem.

im the eldest son in the family, and i think that for my case,
1. set a good example to my siblings
2. help my siblings, but not spoil them
3. ensure that they are treading the right paths, even though they wander off a little, as long as they come back, it will be a good experience for them. however, i must be able to notice if the situation is getting too out of hand and correct them immediately.
4. try to ensure that the family has close bonds together, and not letting me siblings keep all the problems to his/herself.
5. whenever fights or quarrels occur, i should keep in mind that if i get agitated and act impulsively as well, i will tend to lose myself and be unable to help solve the situation, and might even add fuel to the fire.
6. love the family as much as i can -
