Do we need to be rich or popular to have friends?

  True frens wont befriend u only when u are rich/popular.
  
  u will only know who are ur true frens during ur darkest period of time.

  Thanks guys and gals for your precious guidance!! I am glad to have all of you and my few friends as support. I can forget my these sec sch classmates who does not catagorise me as part of them.

  Whenever there is a outing of any kind, i'm always not invited.. usually i won't even know there is one until it's over
  
  I always ask myself "Am i a repulsive social misfit whom nobody truly likes? " I am perpetually mystified at how my name never seems to pop up in their minds when my frens wan to have an outing, watch movie or simply hang out.
  I am even more amazed by how they suddenly will recall my existence when they need help or are in trouble..
  
  The most tragic thing is i have many accquantinces & many ppl commented that "I'm a nice guy.."..
  
  But i figured maybe that's jus my natural shortcoming in life... like some ppl are borne visually impaired or with some forms of handicapps. I am jus born to be LONELY

  hi. don't feel so sad about it ok? you still have your parents who will always be there for you, right? i guess you were a bit on the shy side for them to know you that well. so they forgot. it's not because they don't like you. you can still contact them, and just take it this outing never happened at all. not everybody takes relationships as seriously as you do. for instance, this outing for some of them is probably just another occassion among acquintances which will be forgotten the minute they stop keeping in contact. you will find new friends soon. don't worry about it. and to answer your question,
  being rich or popular will get many people to know you, but they are not your friends

  dump or forget those friends, they;re not considered friends in my opinion and besides they dont think of u when going out shows that they don treat u as a friend so why think abt them. Dont worry i m sure u can find ur 'own' group of friends down the road
