yeah........my nick says i'm a guy.
so SC rejected me. but my ex was an ex-SC girl. and i used to have a very good impression of SC girls too. to me, SC and Nanyang Girls are 2 sanctuaries in S'pore for conscientious, decent and bilingual girls to spend 4 impressionable years fully developing their character and potential without feeling suppressed by the presence of boys in the same classroom. among all-girls schools, SC and NYG have the lowest proportion of non-chinese students, which to me is a very significant plus point. i'm definitely not racist about my acquaintances, but the fact remains that many non-chinese ethnic groups do not share or appreciate some chinese values which i do.
but there are only 2 areas where i will be this choosy,
how i choose my partner and which schools i send my kids to
