Yes, I lost my innocence. But I rely on the lessons learnt in life to avoid committing the same mistakes (hopefully).

Thankfully, the most horrible ones have been avoided
I certainly don't wish for repeats there! 
What I mean about losing innocence is that
I used to think the best of all people. I still do. But where previously I wouldn't listen to others warning me that a certain someone isn't nice, now I do take it into account & observe that person. I'll come to my own conclusion whether or Not to put up my guard.
