Depression or Childish/spoilt behaviour

  I feel that i am a person in a passing crowd..nothing much for people to concern about...i am not something outstanding...in terms of studies, sports capablitity,looks and behaviour..i fall short from the rest of everyone
  
  I feel that everyone is making use of each other in life and although there is friendship,i do not belive in "forever friends" and thus i do not really hold on to friendship tightly (although my heart hopes otherwise)
  
  Everyone in school treats me like tissue paper...after use,i am thrown away...
  In fact, at home... i am also treated by my dog...nowadays she refuses to sleep in my room anymore ever since my brother and his wife move in to stay for a period of time
  
  Meanwhile in school...my studies are rock bottom, the girl i like treats me like shyt and everyone treats me like paper...
  
  I feel that in life..i cannot love the girl i like because i got nothing outstanding or at least something that is with par with the rest and I feel that i also demand too much...maybe? i dunno anymore...
  
  I feel that friendship to me is nothing to me anymore...i give people all my attention and i get treated like a glass( transparent)
  
  Advice?
  
  To the mushy gang: i know u guys ask me out for outing but i am sure i am not worth your time..sorry

  my dear pup, you are not alone.
  
  there are times when I feel like I'm imposing on others when i confide in them or call them out when I'm feeling really lonely,
  
  however, you must keep one thing in mind at all times. "they do not owe you anything!"
  
  meaning,
  
  they do not HAVE to be nice to you if they do not want to.
  they do not HAVE to go out with you/ask you out if they do not want to.
  they do not HAVE to listen to your problems and spend time thinking and
  giving you advices, if they do not want to.
  they do not HAVE to smile at you if they do not want to.
  they do not HAVE to treat you like a friend if they don't want to.
  
  this is ESPECIALLY true online!!! because we are all more or less anomynous... hence others can hate this "nick" but they won't know it's me...
  
  so if there are ppl here or in real life who ask you out for coffee, dinner, etc. or try to talk to you, HAVE NO DOUBT that it is because THEY WANT TO!!!
  
  I repeat : "they WANT to!"
  
  they want to
  know you
  go out with you
  BE YOUR FRIEND.
  
  so don't say that you are not worth our time. Only I can tell you who is not worth my time (and oh trust me, there are ppl out there that I wouldn't be bothered to even say "HI" to)...

  everyone has different styles. some uses the gentle approach, some uses tough love, others use really tough words... but we all have one purpose in mind.

  StarPuppy, it's all about how you perceive yourself. If you think you are average, the others pereceive you as average becasue you behave like that.
  Nobody is average, outstanding or fabulous. If you feel yourself not well among other people, they can sense it and you get their reaction which is the one you just mentioned. It's a circle, you feel as you feel becasue the people behave towards you as they behave, and they behave towards you as they behave becasue they can sense how you feel. Everyone feels better in the presence of positive and merry persons becasue negative and sad persons make them feel negative and sad. It's about your inner attidute.

  Hmm..I search for your name and you seem to complain abt ur low self esteem over and over again? I know how it feels, but at least try to look happy in front of them. Don't let those losers (those that makes you feel bad) feed on your unhappiness. So do yourself a favour, don't DON'T dwell on your unhappy past. It's terrible, sickening and guilty. I know it's difficult, I can understand. But do try to stay close to people that makes you feel better about yourself This way, you can see a vast improvement on your esteem
