I think you should be praying for peace of heart and not luck.
luck may not bring you peace, just like the richest and most successful man in the world may not have peace.
Seems like you are letting your angers and desires get away with you, letting your anger control you instead of you controlling your anger.
Pride is something very transient. Look longer term ba. Life is not just about how great or successful you are in secondary school. So what if you are chairman? Doesn't mean you will perform better than your friends when it comes to uni, when it comes to work, when it comes to life.
It looks to me that you feel you have a lot to give, and you feel frustrated that your time and efforts are not appreciated by your friends. Well, you know, actually a lot of organisations are really looking for passionate, giving people to volunteer and help them. Perhaps you should simply look elsewhere to contribute.
Lastly, Hmm if you always give conditionally, always expecting appreciation, distinction or regard simply because you GIVE. then I think you will be in for constant disappointment your whole life. Doesn't work that way. The rewards come in such a roundabout way that you may not even recognise it, but it doesnt mean the rewards are not there, simply cause you dont have it instantly or it may not be what you want at that time. -

SGEMP may have done wrong but if he is willing to admit to his mistake and change over. why not give him another chance? who has never ever commit a mistake in his whole life?
It takes a real man to realise his mistake, admit it and say sorry to the ones he had harmed.
I hope that people in AA will learn to forgive what SGEMP has done and give him another chance..
he knows his mistake and has done his best to atone for it.. why not just let the matter go? -
