Frankly speaking, I sincerely understood my serious, urgent need to improve in my English, especially in the comprehension skills, and my communication skills.
So is there any way to improve my English comprehension and communication skills?

Read alot of books. Start easy one.. maybe Enid Blyton ones.. dont read Harry Potter..those r rubbish.

Seriously,if you wanna do well in a language,which basically is not just about practises (unlike math or science), you need to expose yourself in to an English environment. Signing up for additional English classes,reading more english magazines and listening to the radio really helps. Try to get yourself interested in music,and try catching movies. I recommend books by Nicholas Sparks,or Roald Dahl (yes,he does writes for adults too),Enid Blyton (yes!!!! she does write for BIG children!!!) . Actually,to get yourself interested in reading,try reading various genres that you fancy. They may be romance,mystery/thriller,biography,fiction,non-fiction.

Ya agree with all the posters above me. Just keep reading all the story books you can find. Never stop reading.. the newspapers, time magazines, story books, non-fiction etc..
As for speaking the language.. it really depends on your environment and the people you talk with and whether you are willing to speak it often even though it will sound strange in the beginning -
Read more, write more, speak more English.

Okie .... Improve as in, writin or speakin ? okie tk it as both ..
Speakin gd English is much more difficult than writin in good English imo ..
Communicate w ur frends in English whenever you can, read story books (start from easy-to-read books like Enid Blyton or LadyBird oso can) .. Whenever you encounter words you dint understand, get a dictionary and check out that word, or go www.dictionary.com , dont skip that word .

Practise writing in English...can do that by keeping a journal, by writing stories, poems, etc... -

Not too loud, just let it be the back-ground sound.
You will acquire the knack of speaking English in sentences, and the sentences with the proper emphasis.
This will help you break away from the monotonous (flat) way we speak English.
Read more novels. -
Go join your nearest English Toastmasters Club.

very interesting, and the english used is superb, unlike other kiddy novels.
very weird approach, but it does work cos you need to pick up new words to improve. -
