you know the thing ppl always talk about body language? there are many times i felt it was so obvious, but then I've been really wrong about it. so nowadays, unless the girl confirm in words, I'll not assume she's interested in me

yeah man, never ever assume..coz there are girls who would be 'extra' friendly to you esp when they want favours from you... and there are those who just want to be everybody's best friend.
so ladies, if u complain that guys are not receptive to your signals... dont blame us for being insensitive... coz many girls b4 you have been sending us the wrong signals...
you know it's so easy.. the best way girls can sent the right signals and being subtle without telling a guy straight forward is simply, open ur mouth and invite the guy out! -

There's no sure way of knowing without asking her. Don't try to read too much into her actions because usually you'll not be correct. Females are complex creatures. There have been cases of guys here in SgForums having their hopes high, 'cause some girl start calling him or smsing him often. But later they find out she's just playing and they get pretty sad after that. Not all girls are like that but don't rush into anything or try to interpret her actions. Take it slow, or just ask her.
