Then get a mobile contract that allows lots of sms at the lowest price...
Find a good local florist where she stays and arrange a deal to send flowers and gifts on Valentine's Day, birthday, etc...If you have a good relationship with the florist, you can get a discount too. Ask them to email you a few days before and give you some suggestions of the products they have. You can choose online anhd they deliver. If you do not have a credit card, it is absolutely necessary...pay online with plastic money. Arrange a time to call her weekly at least...and keep your schedule clear for that period. -

It will definitely need a lot of trust, faith and love to keep it going.
And you would have to willing to. If you are forcing yourself into making it work just because you want it to work, it will never work out...you would have to trust that both you and your bf can work it out together. Dun get into it just because you dun have an option....
So yea, definitely invest in a webcam and get skype to save on the phone bill. OR MSN messenger works pretty well for me too, most of the time.
And at least you know both of you are going to be together in a year's time...so at least dats something to look forward to

be prepared for unexpected response cos your partner might react differently when u not around... keep contact cos u want it no cos u have to... good luck in maintaining it cos not all relationship can survive that test... where are u going?

man, i understand how u feel. i'm in tht situation,she's gng aussie in feb. not sure whether to express my feelings to her or not cause i dnt really wanna get into a long distance thingy as i've had so many real life exps ard me tht broke up & worst of all, i also dnt really trust myself to able to maintain it
