Who can i ask for help?Originally posted by renorenal:Yeah sounds like a personality problem though... you need a professional advisor to help you out...
Don't stick this problem to yourself alone... open it up... your friends, your family and ultimately, someone who can deal with these sort of situations with experience...![]()

yup..but by the 4th or 5th time i dont take her words seriously.. Is there something wrong with me or wat.Originally posted by BÃ¥seline:Good grief... 7th time?
I told her tat.. I thought of dumping her but somehow i cant do it. She is breaking me down mentally.Originally posted by 798:tell her if she cant help herself, no one will help her.
anyway your situation now quite bad, if you dump her, she might do something foolish.
think it's better to remain understanding and stay by her side until she's cured. good luck!
if you know any good ppl who has gone to a psychiatrist or a psychologist before... u may want to check up with them about this condition... since you are nearer to her, and she is unlikely to follow you to an experienced counsellor, try to relate ur relationship problem with these specialists and see what they have to say...Originally posted by Wolfwoof^^:Who can i ask for help?![]()

I realli luv her..it breaks my heart to see her liddat.Originally posted by renorenal:if you know any good ppl who has gone to a psychiatrist or a psychologist before... u may want to check up with them about this condition... since you are nearer to her, and she is unlikely to follow you to an experienced counsellor, try to relate ur relationship problem with these specialists and see what they have to say...
though it is vital if ur gf follows u so that the specialists can take a good look at them, unless you have some close connections to help you pull a few good strings to help you out...try asking around...

i totally understand ur pain, cos i hav a family member suffering frm severe depression. so mine case is definitely worse than urs.
my advice is, mani times we cant understand y they think tt way or y they behave in such a manner. even though they shared with u their agony, u cant fully understand as u aint going through wat they r going through.
at 1 moment they may heed ur advice n the very next second, they fall back into depression.
try 2 be more supportive and understanding and most of all FORGIVING towards them. they reali need some1 to care 4 them.
it will be long and tiring for u cos depression is a long war.
sometimes i will be angry and upset and feel lik its hopeless, feel tt it cant be cure n i cant help e person any more. but luking at e bright side, depression is nt insanity.
imagine when u need company most and yet ppl around u are leaving u or avoiding u. it gotta hurt, especially 4 those in depression.
maybe u can share ur own tough experiences wif them, which at e same time oso comforting urself?
stay by her cos she need u.
