Try showing more care and concern.. why are u giving up so easily?? If you claim that you love the girl, once u get rejected u stopped there? No doubt that u have to respect her decision, but u can always be there as a friend and show her care.. then sometime later when u think is the right time again then approach again.. Basically, is to let her mature, so that she won't wonder off with another yandao again. It is also to let her know u better?? How long have u known her?? A yr?? 2 yrs?? 3 yrs? How much have u let her know u??
One other possibility which I doubt so, the girl is one of those ah lianz type.. That's y they dun see ur inner beauty...
Regarding on the issue with one of the forumites having her ex treating her so badly, could be becoz he's her first.. or maybe, she living the memories of the honeymoon period. or maybe he treats her badly in the sense of being restricted, but I'm sure there are times when he had loved her... I would say she's not toopid, but maybe blinded by love or obsessed by love..

ever wonder wat will happen when the day u grow old n look haggard n wrinkled??? if pple r really juz so much so very concerned abt looks onli... then isn't everyone gonna b all alone when they grow old?? $$ may matters, looks may matters... but all these is onli in the short run... if a person is gonna be with another juz coz of $$ & looks, then can guarantee that once there is no more looks or $$, the one who's looking for tat will move away...
it is ez for one to say no to mind whether the other party has any of the mentioned above... but its not ez to do it.. somehow, the above points may be taken into consideration also but i believe a character is important.. if not how can u ever expect to be wif that person for long?? $$ or looks isn't gonna make anyone stay... at least not for long...

I do agree with the fact that pple are gettin g more materialistic, and pple are looking for a better life. In this world, is there any one who can escape from using money to obtain things that we need, use or eat in life?? But the reason behind getting a better life that's wat is important... Is it to show off to pple that u have succeed in life?? is it to tell pple that i got money and girls will want me?? Or to get back at pple who have rejected u or look down on u in the past?? THere are less true love in this world, i agree to that.. as we can see the divorce rate is rising.. But there are guys who become house husbands, they are not the breadwinner of the family, they dun earn much. Do u think the wife of the house husband married him because of material needs?? Or do u think that this is becoz the guy loves the girl's wealth?? Which I seriously doubt so. There was a documentary show around Fathers' Day touching in house husbands, and there was one who was on the telly.
U sure there's no such things as true love?? Maybe just that you have not met up wif one...
