Dan and Grace went to Orchard, they both went Window shopping, had Ice Cream and had lots of fun spending time together. It was about time to go home, Dan have this nagging feeling that it really should end-(close shop and go home time) but he couldn't point out the reason to end it. Neither does he want to end it.
So they both went to Wheelock place starbucks to have a drink.
Somehow topics went dry and they were both staring at one another.
Grace suddenly asked about Dan's past relationship experience, so Dan answered tactfully sharing with her his past.
However Grace became jealous and started sulking, then She said she wants to go home and left Dan sitting in Starbucks.
Dan realise it has been a cycle throughout the years. -
The heady feeling you experience everyday in a courtship will eventually fade as you get to know a partner better, understanding their faults & differences in character.
It's only when you can accept those differences & faults that the feeling of love grows. You know you can depend on that partner, & vice versa, & you'll support each other.
If these differences & faults can't be accepted (it's an individual choice, No right or wrong), then both parties best move on rather than be stuck in a very unhappy relationship. However, we should all bear in mind that there will never be a "ideal" relationship. It's up to us to make it as perfect as we can for us.

Can't stand those people claiming to be in the same situation, same boat or same Sh!t in each other's thread.
Every case is unique - the intensity and level of emotional inputs, drainage and hurts varies.
Maybe those people claims to be in the same boat with another unfortunate forumer could find comfort in that.
MC empathise with all of AA threads.
Some forumers just like to gatecrash a handful of those threads and say, Same boat man....

p.s: for ur topic.. to me its simple.. Irregardless what is it, anything that lies there for too long will become stagnant. An effort must always be made to keep things lively (tats a broad term, up to ur imagination!~).

pple falling in love for wrong reason, i believe most guys might ended up like this man's case due to desires. often we see quite alot of agony corners regarding affairs and adultery. alot of us will choose to flame them, but what good does it serve? furthermore this poster chose to confess in AA, this just to show that he had the courage to pour out his guilt, as a man, shouldn't we give him a word of advise? rather than behaving like a bunch of judge and jurys to pass sentence?
i am not a person who is good at saying good speeches or express well to console a person in AA cos this is a job for the modulators, but i can be a good listener and counsellor in real life. posting online sometime can led to pple misunderstood since some of the pple judged pple due to personal difference.
tis post is not to rebuke you, hope no personal feelings from u.
