this kind of qn appeared a few times in sgforums b4.maybe u can try turning back to the past threads.
when she plays hard to get,it doesn't mean that she doesn't like u.And even if she belongs to the latter,it too doesn't mean that she'll nv like u.
if she's the shy type,get to know her frens ard her first.getting into their good books is one of the essential stuff u should do to aid urself in the woo-ing!
u can commence by initiating outings wif her and her frens..this way,she'll feel more secure wif her frens ard.
be natural and caring towards her and her frens..slightly better treatment for her..but make sure she doesn't notice that u have a liking for her.dun tell anyone u like her too.

its different if guys wanna play hard to get when ur intentions are actually to woo a girl
first - chat to her...something that isn't within her expectations...say 1 or 2 lines...get her interested in the conversation and then walk away without saying any thing else...not even good bye...
that is what normal guys wun do..so if u do something that she wun expect from normal guys, then your in the 'game'

There are a few kinds of play HTG. This title too general liao and no detail is given. No wonder CuriousOrange don't post.
Briefly.
Lvl 1- She shows interest, calls guy and respond very well to guy until one fine day she lost interest. No calls, finding excuses to get away from you.
Lvl 2- Like 1, she seemed to lose interest but still respond to you. Though not as enthu like the past. Sound 'can't be bothered' atittude.
Lvl 3- She gives you very heavy hints of attraction onto guy, yet she flirts with other guys.
Lvl 4- Like 3, additional to that she totally ignores guy's presence or went MIA for awhile and then suddenly pop back into guy's life again repeating the cycle.
Lvl 5- She's physical to guy however she never told guy what their state of relationship is. Leaving things 'hanging in the air'
the list goes on. It could range from innocent tease to manipulation.
Different lvls different style of dealing.
