Went for countless dates.
Still not attached.
In the first place, what are your reasons for wanting to be attached? If you say that you want to be seen as being in the 'in' crowd or wanting to be like your friends, then I can tell you that you're not mature enough for a relationship.
Take it easy and be patient - you're not in a rush to get married or anything, are you?

If you think that having a gf is a magic bullet that will cure all your problems, then you're dead wrong. I agree that we all seek companionship, but you should only have a girlfriend because you truly love her. Otherwise, you're just seeing her as nothing more than a pet Tamagotchi for your own amusement.
Women are more than just pet Tamagotchis. Grow up, be a little more mature, have a little patience, and the right woman will come sooner or later. -

I'm 24 and only had my first date and gf when I was 19. And here you are "complaining"!
You are now a victim of peer pressure. You want a gf because you see your friends having one. Otherwise, you want a gf because you just want to have one aka want to eat lunch because it's lunch hour and not because you are hungry.
Think of the bright side: you spend less money on dating, talking and smsing on the phone, more time for your other activities, no need to worry about "making her angry", and healing from the numerous "broken hearts" your friends encounter.
At your age, you should worry about your studies and normal friends. 5~6 years down the road, the only good friends you'll have are those that you get to know these few years. -
why be in such a haste in getting urself hitched??? there's plenty of chances...
seriously no need to worry at all... a gf is not jux a companion so simple de lor... a r/s involves a lot more than that... take ur time to know more ppl around u...
the final word of advise is "dun get into a r/s or get a gf jux for the sake of getting one"

One of the top students in my course is not popular with girls. To put it simply, everyone is pissed off with his character. Being top in studies doesn't mean you'll have a gF =) -
