developing a liking for ur female buddy

everything was going on fine as real buddies, sharing platonic true frenships, but once i realised that i have developed a liking for her, everything started to change
she got to knew bout it, though there's mutual hao gan, but yet, it juz dosent feel right, its like can there ever be a tinge of liking ( in the love sense) for ur buddy?
now.. its like we r trying hard to find topics to tok bout when it wasnt like that, looking at each other with a feeling that ' could we rewind back to the days of being juz buddies ' , told ourselves that perhaps we shld juz forget bout everything and go back to the past. but its hard, doubt its tt easy to forget wadever that has been said and discovered
wad shld i do man. there's no closed door either, juz tt it din seem right. and i also wanna go back to the good old days. can i realli pretend that nutting happened and go back to the previously crazy old buddy buddy frenzship> has it been done b4?

ya know sometimes...best of frens might not make the best lovers...one problem is...you are too familiar with each other...the romance is hard to create...no surprise nor excitement...cos u can kind of expect what is the next move of your partner...
on the other hand...i would suggest you give it a try...maybe you can say something like...give yourself and her sometime...try going into a relationship...if it works well...great...but promise each other there wont be any animosity if you two really cannot be lovers... -
seems like these things always happen... thats why i find it hard to believe in the existence of true platonic relationships between opp sexes... at one point or the other, there will definately be attraction, whether mutal or not. things will never be the same again until you have reached a closure on this issue.(ie. u two decided if u wanna give this relationship a try, or both decide that there is no way that will work)

but ask around, there are lots of cases where the destined one is just beside you, but one rather look far ahead in search for it..ends up finally he/she realise THE ONE is all along by their side.

Hmm... been there, done that. The girl and I became good buddies, and I eventually told her about my true feelings. Suffice to say, we remained being buddies.
It gets better - she's now attached to another guy. Sigh.

haiz i also face the same prob as u now elektra....
she also sends me friends forever or smething like tat sms now and then.... haiz... though she knows hw i feel for her.... bt i send her similiar msg back also loh....
but for u a bit hard arh.... cux for guys to express to gals is more common then the other way round....
bt there's this chinese saying... "nan zhui nu, ge zhuo qiang. nu zhui nan ge zhang sa.'
meaning if a guy go for a gal there will be like a wall in between. but if a gal go for a guy there is only a paper in between...

Oh man. This situation sucks.
It didn't work out for me in all the times i've encountered it... whether she knew it or whether i confess... it just seems i make a better friend...
But since there's positive response from your side, maybe you can try being together... it may just end up well...
