I think Im kinda weak.I have been trying/thinking of having a temp job while waiting for my result but everytime theres just something stopping me from calling the phone number listed or opening my mouth to ask.
Now Im thinking of apply for the part time crew at golden village plaza singapura but then now Im asking myself,how do I ask when I reach the counter?Will they mind about my dressing?my hair?,the pimples on my face?.
Im kinda afraid to meet people,sometimes while walking in broad daylight along the shophouses lane near my house,I would rather take a turn and walk the back alley instead.

It's normal.....you are not confident of yourself thats why you do not dare to speak on the phone.To solve this problem, you will have to be active and change your lifestyle abit to more social interaction. Social interaction is a valuable life long skill to deal people whether in work or in your personal life. -

Yah I got an advice for you.....just go and do it, throw urself into action, don't think too much or it will paralyze you from taking action. I know you are shy and unconfident, you don't need to change urself into being confident first, it will take a lot of effort. Instead you just do it. Just do it. After a while then you will be used to it and realize it's no big deal. Just start.

Reminds me of last time, nobody can compare with me lah, I in secondary school while waiting for my friend to go home, then this girl i admire walk down the stairs... I see her then immediately my face turn red then in order not to let her see my red face, I turn to face the wall, so damn stupid, then I can hear laughter in the backgrounds... But now I more socialise because... Just pactise lah, if you don't start then you cannot experience it then you cannot learn. Chiong! Try thinking of it this way, you'll have to work someday or other, why not try now? If it helps, maybe you could ask your friend or soemthing to accompany you? Or just take a deep breath and rush out everything. I just recently applied for my part-time job at Macdonalds just to try it out, well, the people were very nice, just that... You could ask a good or close friend to accompany you ask and apply for a temp job. Try International Plaza nearby Tanjong Pagar MRT, there's heaps of job agencies in that building. I'm also afraid to meet people, so sometimes I wear ultraman mask to go out...so nobody will recognise me.
Don't be silly, there're tons of ugly people around and they are still flaunting their 'good' looks on the streets.
You need to feel good about yourself before your future employer can feel good about interviewing and possibly hiring you.

Most companies usually don't employ you if you bring a friend along (as in go for interview together), unless it's for a temporary operator post in a factory.
If you want to look for a job, go for it. Don't just do nothing 'cos the job won't come crawling to you. -

No need Mouth, Use Cert. If you got a 8~ 10 As cert, without opening your mouth, they'll striaght away empoly you and pay you lots of $,$$$,$$$.

Pretty much like everyone's initial problem.
When there is the first time, there'll always be the second.
Just be confident for once, call them up and stuffs. They're not looking for models or anything, just people with a positive attitude in terms of working or towards your customers. As long as you can speak, "Good morning Ma`am", and smile! You can work the service industry.
Think of it this way my friend, "They come and go, you serve and finish". Customers won't remember your face forever, you're just part of a cycle. Nothing to be afraid of, good luck.
