Regrets but may be too late

Lets just start my thread on why i am so upset..
Its about my GCE O level results..
Science-3
English-4
Combined Humanties 6
Maths/ F&N-7
(i dropped chinese and took chinese basic...yes its crappy for me... a chinese guy can't cope with chinese)
Total Points- 27 - 1(CCA) = 26
I didn't fare well at all...its crappy and i might be going to ITE...can't blame anyone but myself in this position now, always having those procrasntination behaviour...thus leading to my downfall...
I always procrastinate stuff till the last moment...studies and stuff...always this line
"I know..going to do it liao"
or
"i know...no need to tell me"
and i always procrastinate until the very last moment..and i guess this is the punishment for my procrastination...
three months back before O lvls..i started to hit the books...but i guess it was too late...
kicking up reasons like..
"r/s problems"
"life problems"
but the truth was..my engine was too slow to start..waiting for the right time to "feel when it is the right time to do"
I wished that someone could just show me how to tone down on this "I know when to do" behavior..because the truth was i was too lazy and i needed someone to encourage me....
oh well...regrets also no use...i already went to Singapore Poly and i talked to the lecturer there and they said..my chances of getting in is very very low ( 2%)

I am a freethinker but i wish that God can let me in and i promise i will work real hard...i learned my lesson..
I am very lousy at art..but i dun mind learning if given the chance ...
oh well...going to ITE and part time study O lvls is the only way out...but i am in already 5NA and considering that i am going to ITE..i am like 2-3 years from my group...
not that ITE is bad but i just dun want to miss the boat...how i wish now that if i had control this habit of procrastinating...things wouldn't end up this way... -

No amt of words can console you at such times.
Since u know where u had done wrong, bear in mind not to do it again k.
If you really wan to repeat yr O level, i think its better to do it full time. Dont go into ITE and then study O level..Too constraining..
Unless u are only repeating 1 or 2 subjects, then studying at ITE and part time O will be a good idea.. -

hist/ss - b3 ( i tink marker anyhow mark.. i til now stil cannot figure out how i got b3..

pure phy - 5
pure chem - 6
e maths - 5
a maths - f9.. ( i was prepared to failed this 1.. i didn't bother to touch the bk to study at all.. )
l1r4 - 23.. in electronic comp engg now.. strugglin oso.. but able to pass i tink.. -
what can i say...
i have friends who did better than their peers when they re-took their O levels...take heart...at least u have a second chance and its not the end of the world... -
yep..u can always retake ur Os..its a faster router den the ITE path still..
from what i can see is that u failed ur maths which means that most poly courses won't be accepting u..an even if they did,what good would be a course like nursing do to you?
i say spend one more year and do your Os properly and choose the course that u like,dun let the course choose u... -
u sound like me in the past... during the O level period i didn't even study and i got sh|t-like results.. then the following year, i retake O's again.. I didn't study again and fail all the theory subjects again.. Lucky for me, i manage to pass my english and attain a place in the poly..
but if think back, i wasted time and money.. time is around 1 year+ cause u have to wait again for the release of the O's results..
my advise for u, if u're retaking urs O's, please take it seriously.. or ITE isn't a bad choice too.. i have frens studying in poly from ITE.. They have good practical skills..
the choice is urs..

Do u know that many empolyers prefer to hire ITE graduates? bcos we have the skills.
My advice for u is to go ITE if u dun have the confidence of passing even if u retake. Many of my ex classmates went into ITE and also retake maths. But end up quite a number of them were not confident enough to retake maths, and so they stay put in ITE. And also, they have found new frens and happy with what they were learning...some got very good results in ITE tho not in O level.
U might want to consider retaking English coz I believe u can do better. Retake Maths and put in more effort in it. Why drop chinese? It's a stupid thing to do. Chinese is so easy to score. I dun encourage u to retake Humaninites tho.. it's very dry. I retake History also, and got worse results. haha.. but i passed both times anyway.
In short, go into ITE and retake ur O levels (few subjects). Like that u wun be wasting time. If u happen to score well for ur private O, then good, u can quit ite and go into poly. One ex classmate did that. he was the only one who passed maths and got into Singapore Poly months after studying in ITE with us. ITE HNITEC is only 2 years, depening on wat course u choose. Instead of wasting ur time retaking O level again (touch wood* and again..) why not spend ur time wisely and learn something useful?
I was not smart enough to enrol into ITE earlier, wasted one yr.
I can help u with ur chinese if u want. A few of my sec sch classmates got A after going thru peer-tutoring with me. -

Looking at your grades, your math is your fatal weakness. You should beef out your chinese because it's of the easy syllabus to score. Take care. -

It's still not too late now. If you study hard enough as a private student, you still can promote to Poly/JC. Remember this, Dont give up hope. Even a lousiest student will have a most memorable lesson learnt. Jia You, I believe you can.

dude... if wanna go MI right... maths have to be at least a 6? yeah... well i think you can try re taking your math la... Its a better way to go.. or you can go on from ite to poly lo... but its gonna be long la... there are many choices la actually.. but the choices sucks la.... yeah so... its up to you la...

Ok, get yourself enrole for ITE. Only 2 yrs. So your lessons should starts in july 2006 and graduate from ITE in july 2008. If you are retaking your O lvl ( 1 or 2 topics ), then do it during your ITE days. After tat, go NS. ROD and get a day time job and enrole poly part time. From wat I know, part time poly only 3 yrs now, rite guys?

Ask yourself honestly why did you do badly during the Os
If it's because you didn't put in the hard work, re-take and make sure you do better next round.
If it's because you just don't have an interest in the subjects, go to ITE and learn a skill

with 27 points u can still do quite a few poly courses or appeal for those 20+ ones.
Not that i wanna boast but i didnt study and i got l1r4 14 points i too am a 5NA student. And when i say didn't study i mean really didnt until outside of exam hall ask friend , tell me some stuff leh.
