I am studying Aerospace engineering in poly now
subjects that u will be touching on are:
1) Aerodynamics and Mechanical Controls
2) Aircraft Propulsion Systems
3) Human Factors and Error Management
4) Airworthiness Administration
This is only applicable to the Aerospace Engineering option in Temasek poly. Not sure about the other polys.
In addition to that, the teachers will arrange for the students to take the relevant CAAS papers. I just passed one of the subjects and going to apply for 3 more subjects

i personally only the the mechanical controls and aerodynamics..seems easier for me. It touches on topics like flight manoveurs and control surfaces.
Human Factors are mostly talking about behaviours at the workplace that might affect work performance.
Airworthiness Admin is talking about registering of planes and stuff like that
Aircraft Propulsion is about the working principles of different types of engines available and calculations of the thrust and engine performance. -

The calculations are different from the maths you are learning now
As long as you know how to interpret and apply formulas, you will be fine

Aerospace been my dream . But sadly , i get 17 marks and just passed my physics only. Amath i flunked. D7.
Accountancy and Finance also 1 of my dream , not main 1 though. I like working in bank or those major company too. I passed my Math , B3. And i tink less ppl will be going for this compare to aerospace.

but in my cohort, there are only 3 gals out of the total 69 students
i not sure about the electronics side...but for my mechanical area, i can say that you wouldn't be repairing anything at all...during lab experiments, usually the teacher will demonstrate the engine running to the students. Reason is because the equipments are expensive and the sch can't afford to damage it.
For the aerodynamics subject, you would probably be doing CFD. It's a computer simulation of the airflow over the wings of the plane and based on the results obtained, you have to write and submit a report. -

we do simulations only for the aerodynamics and mechanical control subject.
As for the propulsion systems, the lecturer will demonstrate the working principles of the equipments to us.
the course has its interesting and boring time. I think its the same for all courses -
