Did badly for As

  Well, sad to say
  
  Bio - D
  Chem - D
  Phy - E
  Math - F
  
  GP - A1
  
  Do u guys think it's better to apply for a private Uni such as MDIS/SIM, or should I retake my As? I cant retake it in my previous JC because I passed my As and my GP dosen't allow me to retake. If i were to retake As, should i do it studying on my own as a private candidate or should i retake it in a full time private school?

  Ask yourself this question: if you retake your A Levels, can you do much better than that the next time round? Are you going to work harder and put in much more effort than last time?
  
  If the answer's no, then forget about retaking it.

  best to do fulltime if u can afford it, just make sure u get good teachers. hope u do better next time around

  U male or female?
  As I always recommend for the 'O' level people who have grades problem...go NS first.
  
  if U female...retaking it in a school or not doesnt really matter....what matters is how hard you work for it.
  
  btw...most private schools are not known to have good teachers.

  wat do u mean by those O level students who have grade problems go NS first? go NS dun go ITE or POLY? or u mean go sign up for JOINT-poly-SAF diploma scheme?

  take while in army lor. it will be hard but no choice if dun want to waste time. use that as your motivation.

  Don't think easy to resit cos I understand the syllabus change entirely.
  U can still try & apply for place in U first, if cannot get in, try SIM/poly.
  
  Go & checkout the website for entry requirements or consult your teachers.

  If you can afford it, go overseas.
  
  You can join a small community college first if you think your grades don't qualify for those bigger full fledged universities.
  
  However, the good thing is you can do your first year at the community college and then transfer your credits over from your second year onwards at that full fledged university.
  
  Note that you still have to perform for your first year since the transfer depends on your first year grades.
  
  You can treat it like your second opportunity in getting a degree.
