I borrowed $10 from a friend. And it has been only TWO days and she has been pestering me for it. And to the extend of saying this:
"I don't friend you ANYMORE!
Ok. What is it with a mere $10?! A $10 CANNOT buy you that shirt you are eyeing for and that is BRANDED.
A $10 is enough to spoil a FRIENDSHIP though.

Can't say like that lah, she borrowed the money to you, that is a kind deed, it's your duty to return her, even if it's 10 cents. It's her right to ask the money back. It may not be alot of money to you, but you can be surprised how $10 means to alot of poorer people, it could keep their stomach full for 2 days. Do you have any idea how feeling hungry and not having the money to get food feels like? I tried it, just to experience real hunger, and I tell you, after 1 full day I give up, I cannot stand being hungry. I guess I'm getting my point across.Originally posted by LinLing:Yea...
And she have another $20 in her wallet. *roll eyes*
Money can end any friendship.Originally posted by LinLing:Are girls REALLY getting that materialistic nowadays? *Sorry if I spell wrongly! Correct me later!*

Maybe u can say that she's stingy or calculative.
But u borrowed money, it's only right that you pay, and she has the right to ask for it.
yes... and pay QUICKLY, asap! u owe people money already. owing people stuff is bad!Originally posted by FeowFeow:I think it's a sheer matter of principles. You borrow, you pay, simple as that. Money is hard-earned, & even if she didn't earn it herself, her parents slogged like hell to make that bloody $10/-. These kids think money falls from the sky & they're entitled to free money.
