IS ITE really useless?

wah hnitec really got nerds de ahh. ehh i try not to get into bad influences lohs. but i scared study business halfway sian leh. seems boring. =X i also went to register for nafa today but not very well performed in the interview. retake o's like so tedious leh. almost half a year didnt touch all those ten year series liao. think i also cannot do well if i retake o's lohs. =)

ITE oso haf courses tt Poly haf ma.. but on the technical side bah.. i was quite surprised when i see the courses they provide in their websai..

I decided to go ITE after retaking O fail maths again.
actually feel very sian have to go through PE, sing mari kita, CIP again. haiz..have to put up with it but ok lah only 2 years -

If ITE are useless then my gf won't have make it thru to NUS as she went to Tampines ITE, NP then to NUS...

Its not the institute la.. its whether you want to put in effort or not -
The education path is a long one. If there is something you got to be sure about, it is that if you are not going to enjoy what you will be doing for the next donkey number of years. you will grow to not even study at all. It does'nt really matter where you go as have been seen earlier, quoting:
What matters most if that you do your best in what you are going to do and make the best out of it. If you don't, going to JCs won't have helped u either. However, if you do. More importantly, you must realise that it is'nt at ALL important whether people in this forum tells u to go ITE or Poly. This is something you have got to decide on. Because only with that will you not (10 years down the road) blame someone somewhere for making the wrong choice for you. You have got to believe your choice and just go ahead with what you think you want and can do. The most people here could provide you with are a glimpse of what the ITE life (ITE Students) will be like and what the poly life (Poly students) will be like. The rest would be really up to you.

coz many who could not make it to poly actually failed their maths or eng..
CI is Pre U, so have to take GP and Maths too.
Have to work very hard.. if results not good enough for the first yr, might kena kicked out.
That's partly why I chose ITE also. -
dun be like my sister can liao.. tell her go ite she dun wan.. die die wanna go straight to poly..
now still retaking o levels..
cos ar.. if she go to ITE... next year maybe graduate liao... can go straight to poly.. if she fail her o levels again this year... she'd have to take again next year...
now 20 years old..

Just bear in mind that in spite of all the stigma attached to going to ITE, it's not the end of the road. It's the end of the road only if you choose to listen to and believe all those idiots who put down ITE students. Like that poor-excuse-of-a-JC-student who insulted all poly and ITE students on the internet and made it to the newspapers. That guy's a jerk. Don't bother about him.
I remember reading a New Paper article yesterday - about a former ITE guy who made it all the way to an Australian university and won top awards there. If I ever pass him on the streets, I really have to shake his hand, man.
So if he can make it, I'm sure you can, too. Just have faith yah. -

she took the exams first time last year.. she wanted to go back to sch sometime the year before.
