id rather have a poor bf than one who is filthy rich.
rich kids in singapore tend to be spoilt.
TEND TO BE. doesnt mean all of them are...
anyways, rich guys tend to like to show off their wealth as well. which for some reason i really DONT like.
the not so rich people tend to be more appreciative too.

there are more factors than only "girls mind if their BF's are poor".
let's assume a girl is not materialistic by nature.
But does her parents mind?Maybe her parents are materialistic, they hope their future son-in-law is a rich one.
Let's say her family dont mind. People around her, like her frens, perhaps are those materialistic one, they will tell her how rich their bf are. The girl start to compare, and eventually also want a richer bf. -
