  its not about weak or strong...
  imagine...you have someone who is dependent on you...needs you to be the emotional pillar...then you start crying...who is there to stop the tears flowing?
  
  the girls have a reason to cry since they are generally more emotional...therefore its up to people who are stronger to be their pillar...
