a) What are you afraid about to say "I love you"?
If you are afraid of losing her if you say I love you, and she rejects you, then refer to b)
b) What is the likely outcome if you just continue like this?
If she is going to leave as well (as you say, lesser topics to talk), then result is the same as the possible result of a)
Thus if both a) and b) have the same probable negative outcome, then you already have the worst case scenario. If b) is 100% negative, then go for a). -
