How to stop myself from missing someone?

There is no way. 8 months on, i am still missing him,wondering how he is..Everyday go work my train station will surely pass by his. Everytime i go for my night class i will will pass by MDIS where ne studies. Every time i pass by city hall i think of him cos as we worked together very briefly once. Good luck 2 u!

yes, im still around and im reading all the post here eveyrday without fail
its really hard to stop myself from missing that person, i keep myself very busy..but until a point whenever i slowed down, my mind will linger around that person
i will be wondering wat that person is doing at the moment now and i wish to be by the side.............

Avoid the area that both of you had gone and stopped doing things that you used to do with him. Keep yourself very busy until you don't even have time to sleep. Then you will be tired to even think of him. I spend two years to forget a person....that's until I get a replacement.

From the response here, looks like almost everybody goes through it. So just accept it and wait.... wait.... wait.... but in the meantime, get a life, no matter how meaningless it may seem. The other way is to get an addiction stronger than this one, a good addiction like reading a book or playing those mindless games on your handphone until you fall asleep. Or simply think of other things, force yourself to think of other things.... one minute first, then ten minutes, then half an hour..... until you are so good at it, you switch automatically.
