I've friends who have found true love when they've only known each other for a week and they're happily married.
And there are couples out there who have been together for 7 years and yet they still broke up eventually.
It's always good to keep an open mind and when things defy norms, it doesn't necessary means that it won't work out.

IN FACT, (ALMOST?) ALL HUMANS should be able to... -
14 years old.. only sec 2? studies are important however if your friend is mature enough he should be able to handle both studies and relationship. doesn't mean that a relationship will affect studies which is also his parents main concern. he should prove to his parents that he can handle both well. have a good talk with mum. His GF can motivate him to study hard too. forcing them apart will not solve the problem.
