all govt agencies are damn packed now man..especially since my degree is not tat marketable.

on my 2nd rd of interview at dxo today, not sure how the career prospects there are like but the job scope seems kinda boring though heh. paywise not sure maybe $2.5k?

Btw, just wondering cause someone mentioned somewhere in this forum that the civil service benefits applies everywhere except MINDEF. What does that mean? Cause i'm applying for a position of DXO which is technically also considered a government job. Whats the pay increment annually for that job?..is it the same as for other govt/stat boards?

I think you're getting the wrong idea.. I believe it's really a private company working VERY CLOSELY with Mindef... They EXPECT RESULTS..
Mmm... About 'service benefits officer'... Ya lor.. That's why I'm wondering if you're really 'technical' or more administrative services...?? I think the admin. should be much better..? Depending on where you are... More of politics (if applicable to the department you go) and maybe some 'boot-licking' and socialising with the MIDEF officers...?
