Average Singaporean Income

  Umm... hehe. Recently, I've just started thinking of saving, late, I know. And I haven't really finished school yet.
  
  I just want to know how much an average Singaporean income is...
  
  So, can you guys help?

  hmmm... perhaps u can do a survey? well i guess average singaporean around 25k?
  
  for me i am 21 years old, reaching 22 next month, annual income 32k, driving a 1600 cc car after paying all the bills and installment i still have 1000 spare, can save around 500++ per month...

  i can give u a crap figure if u wan to
  
  0 lvl grad - 1k-1.5k(depending on job n experiences)
  
  poly grad - 1,5k-2k (2k n above may be due to experience)
  
  U grad 2.5k(starting easily reach depending of field you are in. medical, engineering n law pay higher)
  
  i am a 0 grad waitin for NS. juz resigned frm a job which pays me 1.3k + tips as waitor. if u wish to save. try to save 10-20% of your monthly income.

  u graf not so much. that 2.5 more for those engin pple which is supposedly higher than avg....

  Yah, add all singaporean working earnings and divide by the working population. But then if you include MP earnings, it'll inflate the average by alot, which means cheating other countries that we have a high average salary per worker here when we really don't, so let's try not to include to get the real figures. Let's see how poor we are.

  Umm.. thanks for all the serious replies. Sorry for not specifing the area of income. I suppose that I would mean a in-the-middle sort of person? Somewhere around the 20s, 30s, and maybe 40+s?
