withdrawal from polytechnic-am i silly

i have decided to stop schooling in poly, and want to start and finish my nsf soon, and get ahead with my private diploma when i come out from nsf.
i know that with the private diploma, i can get a job easily upon graduation.
the reason for me to withdraw from school is due to lack in interest in the modules that i am doing.
the path that i am choosing to take now, is inline with my passion, wealth related etc..
I am a yr 2 student, 1/4 done for yr 2 only. No refund of school fees.
I would like to hear different views on my decision to withdraw from sch. -
Let's take a look at the facts:
1. You don't like your course.
2. You have better prospects taking a private diploma.
3. You can clear your NS liability and get it over and done with.
There's nothing silly in quitting poly if you feel that it's for the better. If you're going to be miserable for the next two years and are subsequently going to be stuck in a job that you hate for the rest of your life, then there's no point in staying.
Since you've already quit, there's no turning back anyway. Move on, and don't look back.

it's being a long time since someone actually agrees with me, at least a year perhaps, be it in real life or in the internet. -

as said nothing wrong with quitting since u r not interested in it... n u still young so can still make changes to ur life... now jz plan ur steps well... dun tink too much abt the decisions cos its already made...

i did mention that i want to quit sch in the thread, 2nd and 3rd line of my first post in this thread.
i also did say that after finishing nsf then i go take up private diploma.
and i did highlight in orange that i am just here to listen to views ONLY as i have decided to go ahead with my decision.
its different.
perhaps you have read too much threads, thus your eyes are tired, take a rest then, facing the com for too long can be damaging to your eye site. -

i have 2 frenz of mine who quit poly and went to jc.
the first one was a lady, super smart then me by at least 3 times, but she is the other way round, quite jc go poly after 1 yr of studying, currently yr 2 in SP
the second one is a guy, from poly quite school after a couple of months in poly last yr when we were still in the same class, and he is currently doing fine in jc.
If you think you can make it to jc, then go ahead, but make sure you can handle the tons of homework from jc, something that i heard from my fren who is in jc currently, not sure how true it is la. -
