I am worst. When I resigned from my previous job, my boss so scared that I will not teach the new girl everything. To make matter worst, the new girl seem don't know anything. Beside teaching her my job, I had to teach her the software which she claimed that she know during interview and even taught her my accounting skill. OMG, I spend years mastering my skill, what did she expected to learn within such short period. After I left, my nasty boss who had been relying on me can't close the company accounts and did audit. She started spreading news that I did'nt hand over my job properly. In the end my president call and ask me go back. But I refused which I regreted, who knows maybe I will take over my incapable boss post. But then again, she had sugar daddy, vice president, I did'nt have.
I also regret that I did'nt resign earlier. No point working under a boss that had sugar daddy because I will never out-wit her and I will have to slog like donkey. -

But later he treated me not bad lah... I helped them bring in sales though I really only working in packaging... Allow me to do OT, stay back and watch them arrange things while he asked me not to do anything but get paid...

I always tot my friends always bully me. They always use words that hurt me, sometimes make me do alot of things. I sometimes hate them to the core. Last day when i was to resign, one of my colleague passed me a box. I ask him, "what is it? A bomb?" He told me to open the box. I open it, inside is a psp and a card with 20 over of my colleagues's signature wishing me all the best...

I can relate. People at work are generally nice to you because they need something from you (ie favours, endorsements, or simply your cooperation to meet deadlines/quotas).
There are similar examples elsewhere. An acquaintance of mine was a high flyer, CEO of a large company, jolly fellow with a great attitude. Treated like a mini celebrity, he was. After he retired, he told me that his past business partners and colleagues shunned him or treated him very differently.
There are some who turn out to be great friends after you leave the company or even retire, but from personal and friends' experience, such people are far and few in between.
Such is life
