most metal bands reign from the scandivanian countries like norway, denmark, iceland, finland, etc you f*ckin' idiot! not the states or britain.

Come on, MCR ain't emo to speak of and they are too mainstream. And singapore radio play all is those very very very mainstream rock bands, so boring. If the rest choose to be poseurs, let them be they are just lost sheeps following the crowd on what's the lastest trend, which make them no identity and just following what's 'in'. but i mean since black metal doesnt really appeal to the mainstream (in SG) at least, i suppose that it would be quite understandable that performances/broadcasts are pretty limited? -
Well, some rock aren't suppose to be mainstream, about 2 decades ago when an underground band signed to a major record label and go mainstream they would be labelled as sellouts by those people who are in the scene.
