Have anyone of you come across waiting for public bus for 25 min coming to half an hour? I call up and query for the bus frequency. The customer service just replies me that all buses are in high demand at that time and they will take note of my problem.
I find that they should cut short the frequency. How can they let passenger to wait for almost half and hour and they keep increasing bus fare.

Only 25 min.... Got one time I wait for 154 for 35 min at 7.30 pm.... 14 min frequency my foot....

that's why have to increase more buses. somemore so many pple waiting and have difficulty getting up the bus.

i dun mind if they decrease bus fares though.

For buses it's oftenly affected by traffic conditions
Though there are some svs the buses often arrive bef time -
No, what i think they really should do is track the buses and predict when they will arrive.... that way, we can go makan for a while and not miss the bus or get bored to death...

one way to solve the waiting problem is to get your own car

cant be everday accident rite...even if accident cant be always affect the same route rite...
like that thime, i miss 1 bus and i have to wait for so long at night time after my lesson. it horrible. -

Esp like 154 all these long haul rts, once a bus is delayed usually it's quite difficult to do 'catch up' -

Good fuel consumption and cheap too. -
predict must +/- loh... even the weather station not very accurate... My idea is have check points along several bus stop to track the bus possition, do an average travel time between bus stops, +/- traffic conditions and give a +/- prediction....Originally posted by sbst275:Really how to predict?

We can get the prediction by sms....
They have to use the ez-link system that keeps track of the bus movement to revise the schedule? And they usually try to take in the traffic condition + loading condition -

As for SMS, it cost millions to implement it, even so, it would be very complicating
