How do you deal with the situation when both you and your girlfriend got no topic to talk about ? -
When you found no topic to talk about means both of you share different interest, therefore this also means she's not suited for you.

I've never had a girlfriend before, but I sometimes also think of this problem, because I'm a man of few words.

Tell a joke or a funny experience that you and your friends have.
Converse on the topic that she is interested.
But, it may be a sign that the relationship have come to a standstill.
Then, you have to think about it cos it will happen again. -
Talk about interesting things which happened when you're not with her?
And also be observant and talk about things which is in your surrounding maybe... That creates topic! Comes with practise!

The thing is, What if i like that girl but when we meet up, i cant think of any topic.
For me i dont mind if the girl is a silent type..but with a good heart...my worry is, will the girl think I am a bore and dont want me?
I keep getting this song to my mind: Ronan Keating's "When you say nothing at all". I have this sentiment but not sure if the girl has it...Haiz.

i'm sure there's plenty to say, like your everyday lives, bla bla bla...
dont just keep your mouth shut tho -
it's the exact opposite for me. me and my gf always has so much to talk about that i always forget to tell her important things..
i guess you should just relax and worry so much about running out of things to say. just say whatever comes to mind.. if nothing, just hold her hand and enjoy the atmosphere.
Some starters are probably:
1. school/work (don't rant though!)
2. movies
3. clothes/ brands
4. politics (only if your gf is interested. rmb never to rant)
5. people
6. religion
7. funny things that happened (your dog died.. you mouse drowned..)
8. small but interesting things in your life (you dropped your contacts.. you found money on the floor.. you finished your homework in record time.. you picked up photography and blah blah blah)
most importantly, don't bring up things which your gf doesn't like to be reminded of. e.g. talking about her prelims and stuff. -

well...im a girl..so maybe can give you some pointers... yeah..there are times when u run out of topic n have an awkward moment of silence... maybe u can like ask her how was her day n all..[if u havent already asked] and..i dunno... anything is ok lah...as long as she is interested... if really nothing to talk about.[which is abit unlikely] you can just..continue walking with her la..or just sit there n think of smth to talk about..or maybe u can like..play a game or tell her some jokes..haha... =)

It should be something natural... when you are comfortable with each other, you can talk about anything under the sun... every day there are new stuff that happens.
Used to be in a relationship where I had to plan what I want to say.. and of course it failed.

there is at least one everyday -
