I remember one of the service providers actually charged me over $750 for pay as you use GPRS usuage, when I actually sign up for unlimited usuage. I phoned and the operator calculated and told me to pay over $260 wtf!! Wa lao luckily this bill is not paid through credit card or giro.. if not will never get my money back. Next month the bill snowballed to over $1000. This time I got angry and phoned the customer service hotline again. The operator told me their billing system need one month to update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wa lao for your info, I paid over $150 plus more (after the operator calculate the so called "actual bill" due to the plans mistake in billing. The operator promised the next month bill will have that extra amount which I had paid deducted from the bill. Ok i believe the operator and even thank her. Then next month I saw they never deduct any amount from the bill. What nonsense is this. One of my ex colleagues face the problem when using GPRS for our pocket PC phone. The service provider is lucky that we did not write to Newspaper Forum to complain.. "Service provider anyhow charge consumers bills can.. then if consumers pay their bills late get lawyer' letter." That time I didn't terminate my contact with the service provider because I need to pay a penalty for doing so, not worth it.
