From personal experience, I have a couple of platonic friendships. Only 1 almost ended in a way that almost sent my relationship soaring away. But we managed to thrash things out. And we are still the best of friends.

they have their own relationships n are going strong.... n they know that they only want to be friends with one another. It shouldn't be a problem since they both have their bf , gf...... they shouldn't be falling in love with each other.
But...... one day..... the guy's relationship with his gf seems to be on the rocks. then the gal have the same prob too...
And in the end? they ended up togehter again.

I think that a bond of friendship between opposite sexes opens up new horizons.
When the two are strictly friends and no more than that, they can actually get very close. In fact, i find myself more able to talk abt emotional aspects of life to a gal rather than a guy.
It's natural. There are many such relationships like that out there. In fact, i would rather have this kind of friendship which allows for more flexibility compared to a real commitment. At least someone is there to listen and talk to without the added stress of seriousness.
Too many ppl associate these sort of friendships with real relationships and hence, un gainly rumours. They haven't come to terms with teh fact that a gal and a guy can be very close friends.
And that's just it....good friends and nothing more. -
