Well, from his point of view, he would be wondering, why is there no hurry?
I am assuming both are genuine in this relationship, the reason is just that different people perceive and react differently given the same situation. More so if you subscribe to the notion that men and women think differently aka "Mars and Venus". -

i have a female friend... who is in a pretty similar situation...
a 30-yr old executive who's doing pretty well on her job, deemed as pretty by most male species, but she's jaded about relationships becos of a bad past... and thus, she had been going on dates after dates... but she can never find anyone perfect for her...
Mr.Dream-lover came by, they enjoyed each other's company, perfect chemistry etc... then within a month, she started to whine about Mr.Dream-lover who kept pressing her to be his girlfriend... and Mr.Dream-lover is too good a person to be true...
The whining went on for days, then weeks and weeks become months... good friends, online friends, everyone, got to know about this Mr.Dream-lover situation. Everyone had a say about it...
My question is this...
What good is it to keep talking about it?
And the reason why Mr.Dream-Lover is pressing her because she's been sending out all the "come get it" signals... So who's the victim here? -
I still think 3 weeks - 1 month with less than 5 meetups is really too much of a hurry

Perhaps, due to her past experience, she need validations from everyone before she decide, and we know that is impossible - we're talking about everyone here. -

Anyway, onlookers will never know what is going on in a relationship. Only the parties involved will know all the details. To you, he may be Mr. Dream-lover, to her, she might have seen his flaws.
Having said that, like what mongster highlighted, if he indeed is really Mr Dream-lover, your friend needs to be reminded that no one is perfect. -

i have not read all the threads, but my view is that there is no need to hurry.
Have to take sometime to understand the person well, his behaviour, attitude, lifestlye, and many more....of course he can please you now, but later on...who knows. 3-5weeks are very fast to have conclusion. -

Your friend is not the only one in a hurry to rush you into relationship. I, too, met a number of men who do the same. Are there men who can be patient to wait for a reasonable time? Not every gal wants to rush into relationship. Guys wait, train your patience OK. No venture no gain, no pain no enjoyment of the fruit of labour!
There and then if their needs of going into relationship are not met they back off and totally cut themselves off from the gals. So sad! I am one who believe if gal and guy can't be bf and gf we still can be friends, too bad the guys don't take it that way. -

We are progressing well, happily in the courtship cum know-each-other-better stage. Things are going well.
Last night when we were on the phone, he was telling me, he had done some reflection on himself lately, and he felt so puzzled why he had 'pressurized' me in the past. In fact that is so not him. Must be the insecurity working;p He felt 'shy'
