Known this person recently:
24 year old single chinese male. Accounting Assistant in Singapore. Mother is bankrupt, so is father. Only son.
this young man A. Joins a forum and introduce himself as:
A claims to be a VP of a company. Getting married to a female 8 years his senior. Drives a black Toyota Rav 4.
A was able to tell stories of his high lifestyle, from saying he just scratched his car and how much he was paying for it. Also of stories about his condo, his love for his new wife and how he treats his new wife.
On a subsequent encounter with A's collegue, which I later exchange numbers with. Too many stories did not add up. And A's collegue gave me a call and we compared stories.
Turns out.
A told similar lies to the collegue but of another lifestyle
In most facts, that 'collegue' is the VP of a company, lives in a condo, drives a Black Tucson and has a husband who treat her real well.
What both of us has discovered, is that A has lied about his life, using the lives/experiences of others to make his own.
Do you know of such people? -
A is either schizophrenic or if not, he has a very very very poor ego......

On other occasions.
A female Amy just went thru a gynae surgery to remove cancer bits from her womb.
Her other female friends Jean, was having trouble with her boyfriend and had a break-up.
Jean then request from Amy the receipt of that gynae surgery, to make copies and to doctor that receipt so she can fax it to the boyfriend's office to claim that she has undergone a abortion for him and is requesting him to pay up. -

A young 22 year old female called PL.
Joins also a forum and Jio people out for outings.
On those outings, PL claims that she is very popular and other females dont like her because of her popularity.
She also pinpoints that a certain group of females from that forum does not like her, because she is sooo popular.
Thus, she has no wish to make friends with that certain group of females and only is willing to hang out with the guys.
All in all, the certain group of females didnt know about her, except that she was making hellavu effort to cheapen herself and popularise herself by pinpointing at the group of females to have disliked her.
And her best line: They dont like me, so I dont want to know them or want to subject myself to knowing them.
The group of females disliked her then. But the general feeling: You made yourself out to be disliked. We frankly didnt even know a worm like you ever existed till now. Good luck with your life. -

We just felt sorry that Singaporean youths arent yet open to their own experiences and had to resort to these stories of others to make their own sound more interesting.
Or in some cases, make themself look more wiser and interesting. -

well, I dont think all of us here in the Aunt Agony forum here are all young ones without experiences in life.
We arent born yesterday.
And these encounters, are what formed our attitude towards other human beings.
Surely if everyone think back, you might have remembered a similar scenerio with such people that arent who they are. But instead of asking for help and companionship from others. They try to create a life so they have a one 'up' from their peers? -

met one particular girl online... always as a guy trail her when she goes pub but claims to be a nice girl who likes to stay home type (yeah right - everyone can tell she's one cheongster). Then she attempted to get involved with a couple of the people she met. One of them she told the story she has a daughter and she is a single mother, the other she claimed to be pure/innocent never had r/s, and blah blah blah. Each person who be given a different story. After entanglements with some girls/guys, this mess of a person got involed with an Aussie. All I can say is good riddance to bad rubbish. Thank god there is a dumping ground in white country for women like this...

This man Beng, got to know this gal Mei thru friends and friends and dunno what other friends twice removed.
Now Beng fancies himself quite a playboy and often will pick the gals out for lunch and dinner with his fancy dandy father brought him BMW.
So he manages to bring Mei out for a couple of lunch and brought her some clothes as gifts. Now Mei is an upcoming work executive and getting her own degrees part time. Wheres Beng was just a primary school dropout.
Beng was very proud of Mei, telling all his Ah Sia Kia friends that Mei is his g/f. And his ah sia kia friends are so envy of Beng because Mei is pretty as well as intelligient.
Beng picks up golfing, because Mei golfs. Beng try to do everything that Mei does.
But in private, he was always trying to put Mei down. Telling her, that because she is a female, so must be stupid. -
