A old man goes into a village and claims that he has a magical stone. It can produce a wonderful soup for everyone who wants to taste it.
So he asked to borrow a big pot and put the stone in the pot.
Then he asked the people that was crowded around him for water. A shop owner supplied the water. He started boiling that water. Then he taste the water and goes hmmmmm.....might do with some salt.
So someone supplied some salt.
He taste it again....he says: Its heavenly....but it will be even better with some vegetables. So someone else supplied some vegetables.
All in all, he keeps tasting and everyone contributed with more ingredients.
Then 2 hours later, after putting in salt, vegies, bones & other spices. he invites the rest of the villagers to come with their bowls, bread & a spoon.
And everyone sat down and chatted while they all sat down and ate the soup which they have all heartily contributed some ingredients.
End of story. -

Me. I am in agony at the lack of maturity I read on young folks with young idealistic minds answering to postings only with their limited experiences allows.
Its like....ah beng only hangs out with their fellow ah bengs instead because everyone around them thinks like them.

A particular young NSF boy. Was posting in a NSF Forum. Where there is a thread regards the demise of a certain officer.
This particular young NSF boy, then even though was feeling sorry that an officer died.
Didnt want to lose out an opportunity to claim that his unit is better and his unit and himself are frankly doing a better job then the Dead Officer's Unit. -

This gal Magenta. Comes from a middle class family and she has a kid brother that is now a lawyer.
Now Magenta isnt very bright. Not really pretty but fairly volumtious and big ta tas. (I think her sweet looking though.)
Now on several occasions, Mag will regale me about her relationships and how her bf pampers her and even her sexual exploits (I was like Whooaa!!! Too much information!)
I have never met her b/f.
On 1 occasion, I was invited to her party. And at that party was a guy, with the same name as her b/f, has same background as her b/f and frankly.....is her 'so called bf'.
When I tell him point blank: 'Hey, Magenta means a lot to me, I hope you will really treat her well.'
He looked at me blankly.

With that 'Huh???'
Much later, Magenta announces she broke off with her b/f and she confided that it was the guy I met at her party is her b/f.
Thats when I had a inkling that it might not be what she tells me to be.
