Mr A:
1. been together with him for 2 years, when he is broke, in NS, never left him in lurch before
2. been taking me for granted for these 2 years until i seriously wanted to breakup with him, seeing that he is changing in some ways. except for gambling. (can borrow money from me to gamble even when very broke)
3. in ALOT of financial problems
4. unstable income
5. o'level graduate
6. one thing for sure: his love for me will not change
then when i am being disillusioned abt mr A, Mr B appeared..
Mr B:
1. stable income with a car
2. ite grad
3. good to me too
4. 25 with a son
Note: i am looking for a future husband.
Mr B loves me alot.. i like Mr B too but of cos i love Mr A much more after been thru so much with him.. but i jus feel tired abt worrying for money, his gambling habits.. everytime i get my pay or allowance, most of it goes to him.. im not a materialistic gurl but im jus tired of being broke.. but i still can't bear to let him go.. i have given my everything into this relationship with him..

what matters are that you got to accept him as he is and realise that whatever habits you know him to have now, will continue for avery long time. What I am saying is that if you are comfortable with the fellow, but you expect him to change for the better in future, I hope your future is measured in million of light years. It depends on what you can overlook and what you cannot. I can over look my husband's smoking, coffee drinking habits and the fact that he is married to his family and love his niece dearly. But I would not overlook if he is constantly in financal issues and I would not overlook that my guy is not strong in character and street smart.
I don't know about you, but as a woman, I look for security. I tend to forgo things like romance and etc over the fact that he is reliable. But just as mentioned, B was chasing you and I do not know how much you know about B so make your decisions wisely. But every action has its own consequence. AS my mother said, there is some good but never perfection. -
if A quits gambling but still in debt, would u be willing to stay by him?
I think what you are looking for is stability.

EXAMPLE: when he's broke, he will say: "i promise u i will not gamble again" sometimes swear la. say chop off dick la..
but whenever he press he's pay from atm, the next minute he will say "i go see soccer awhile.. see only.. won't buy one.." then, he will walk out of singapore pools with a huge stack of the matches he bought.

There are some counselling services available for gamblers who wana quit gambling.

If you really love him and want to have a future with him, i strongly encourage you to persuade him to go for the counselling. Also, to help him, you MUST NOT lend him anymore money to gamble. -

Ditto what Browniebaobao said, gambling addicition ruins lives and yet it's not easy to kick the habit. With your help and encouragement, he might just be able to kick the habit altogether and salvage the relationship. Then everyone will be happy!

Anyway i'm quite puzzled why u can be sure that A's love for u will nv change.
To me, I can't see how he's even loving u now if he has been taking u for granted and gambling away ur money like nobody's business.
The thing a guy wouldn't want his love one to see most is how useless he is, yet A seemed to be just doing the damn thing happily.
