Haiz. I'm broke. My account balance only $15 bucks.
In the day, I don't have time for part time jobs. The only time I have is at night.
I need to find a night shift part time job. My allowance is a miserable $30 / week. I'm in poly and I have 2-3 meals a day outside. HAIZ. -

If ur family isnt financially tight, try explaining to ur parents abt ur predicament n ask for a raise. With the no. of meals u need to purchase i muz say ur allowance is quite tight.
Or u can choose to work. Tuition shouldnt take up too much time n would be a gd source of pocket money. Night part time work would probably have a toll on ur health and studies, so i wouldnt encourage. Weekends is the best time to work. Personally, i feel church activites n bf should take a back seat if not put on hold. Seriously think abt it, which is more impt. Getting money to pay for ur meals or ur personal leisure "commitments". u have to prioritise.

spend less on food? as in, pack from home, or make sandwiches?
learn to spend money wisely dude...
do partime only when u r free, in hols...school term, study hard..i know some pp can work n study, but not everyone can balance it... -

i think giving tuition is a good idea. the timings are pretty flexible (if the student also chin chye) and you wont have to work for long hours

I should know. I'm in NUS now. I give three tuition sessions a week to earn my pocket money.
If your schedule is really as tight as you say, then tuition is your best option. You say that you're not good with kids? Well, I say that there's a first time for everything. You'll get used to it. -

i think the best ways are to cut down on your unnecessary expenses, such as clubbing, drinking wine, partying, buying things that you don't really need, ban retail therapy.
if u always eat good food, then I dun think u can survive at all.
I spent less than 15 on my meals per week in poly last time.
i go for stuff that can make me full, not stuff that are delicious and expensive but dun make me full at all.
my bank is still enough for me to survive despite not working for 4 months also. but now no choice have to work cos my parents are complaining i turning lazy
