yeah we have lousy bodies sad to say. should we blame it on god or evolution?Originally posted by Hidden^OnE:The only true way to lost weight is exercise and a good diet(not a small one...). Tested and proven.
Your body is quite interesting. Once you cut down on food, your fat will actually increases and not decrease. Your body will panic when there is not enough food and starts storing fat while using up your muscles as a source of energy. Fat is the most effective way for your body to store energy. You may become lighter, but your body fat percentage higher.
For someone trying to lose weight. The type of exercise you do should be low-intensity ones. Like brisk walking, or cycling. I managed to lose 3kg in 9 days cycling in Korea. Your body will choose the source it gets energy from based on the exercise you do. High intensity exercise will use up your food energy more then your stored ones. Low intensity will use up your stored energy.
If you are unwilling to exercise, stay fat then!

Ya... Try brisk walking... It's 'easy' and effective, almost everyone can do it....Originally posted by Hidden^OnE:The only true way to lost weight is exercise and a good diet(not a small one...). Tested and proven.

i can burn 300+ calories in 20 mins at the gym. does that mean i'll soon look like vincent ng?Originally posted by rainee:not just enuff to have a good diet, must do exercises oso...
and similarly, not only must exercise, must have a good diet as well to slim down...
wat i did last time was to go swimming everyday (spent around 1 hour plus each time and got burnt until very jia lat by the end of summer) then followed by half an hour gym session. If I only have the gym session, I will focus on losing around 300 calories per session...
then cut back your food by another 300 calories everyday...like dat confirm will slim down![]()
hmm what I heard is that it's not how strenuous the exercise is, it's the duration of the exercise which induces the lost of weight, so brisk walking for longer durations will have a much better effect than jogging for a lesser amount of time.Originally posted by rikki:May i ask how much is 300 Calories?
I too , am trying hard to lose weight.
I heard of brisk walking, You mean if i brisk walk i'll actually lose more weight than jogging? Now thats AMAZING

Eat more fibre in your diet. From fruits and veges. Provides bulk and is pretty indigestible hence you will feel 'full' for quite long. Good food for slimmers.Originally posted by udontknowme:damn! oi! i AM in agony ok!!!more like fucking pissed and annoyed
