life is very fragile, and there will be problems till u die.
so, live ur life to the fullest and be happy.
by just walking ahead without looing back or ask ourselves these questions, how am i going to reflect on the mistakes which i did or the things which is either correct than upgrade, if wrong then correct my mistakes?Originally posted by MiX Metal:Every Obstacles or challenges that we face in life is a chance for us to learn something and walk out a better person, it may or may not come in handy but at least something is learnt.
Life's not meant to be easy, it should be worth.
If we spend too much time wonder that if we've done something different or if we've done something more will things be different we'll never be able to move on, our life on the planet is short, there's is no point wasting it on all these questions, by doing that, you are actually holding yourself from improvements ....
if u have a family to support.. it is a must then u move on... cause.. w/o u ur children.. wife.. how?Originally posted by the_fallen:by just walking ahead without looing back or ask ourselves these questions, how am i going to reflect on the mistakes which i did or the things which is either correct than upgrade, if wrong then correct my mistakes?
if i just keep on moving, than would it be closing myself refusing to learn more?
I'm not saying that we should just move on and not reflect on our mistakes, but ask yourself what you've done wrong, learn from it on move on....Originally posted by the_fallen:by just walking ahead without looing back or ask ourselves these questions, how am i going to reflect on the mistakes which i did or the things which is either correct than upgrade, if wrong then correct my mistakes?

it does not hurt to enjoy while you are young. i dont mean to be pessimistic but you never know if you will wake up tomorrow.Originally posted by the_fallen:how to live life to the fullest?
my friends are happy with the way they are clubbing, toxifying themselves, damaging their ograns and their health. the rest just virtually wasting their youths away on un-neccessary things.. others gaming, none are actually planing for their future.
any suggestions on how to actually live life to be the fullest as well as be happy?
mmm with regard to your last few sentences, go join a volunteerism organisation. There are many unfortunate people out there whom need help and yet no one helping. So wana take up there challenge? Require commitment and efforts.Originally posted by the_fallen:how many of you want to help people, but when you offer a helping hand, only to have people doubting you if it's for real and some even slab or reject your helping hand and say don't be hypocrite?
some times i really want to help, but how many are there willing to be helped?
although i have being rejected numerous times, but at least, i know what i'm doing is correct, and will also persist on.
r u worryin abit too much? Yes it is good that you think about it and plan ahead but worrying does not help. There is a difference between worrying and thinking of constructive solutions. If you can do something about it, then do it. If you can't, you will not died of hunger either..Originally posted by the_fallen:moving on is good, but exactly what and how to move on
let's say retrencement for example.
elaborating from your example as per above (highlighted in green)
situation:
Status - Retrenced sole-breadwinner in his 30s.
Current Liabilites : 1 wife, 1 kid, and a house on installment with 20yrs period.
Montly expenses just electricity bills cost $100, education fees how much $?? (i'm not a parent so i have no clues)
Household expenses $?? - $500 average rate rite?
Contribution to parents and parents-in-law : 4 person each $500 = $2000
Transportation: $100 per pax* 7 people = $700
moving on, okay, than with the current situtation, how to survive in current Singapore context?
How about finding the meaning in life? The purpose of our roles in this mortal realm? Is it simply to comply with many of those highlighted in green so as to climb to the top and show it to the world where you stand? See what Bill Gates did.Originally posted by the_fallen:how to live life to the fullest?

This is a juggle between "stuck in the past" and "ignoring the past". What was meant is that: We should look back at the past experiences and LEARN from it while NOT reminisce too much.Originally posted by the_fallen:by just walking ahead without looing back or ask ourselves these questions, how am i going to reflect on the mistakes which i did or the things which is either correct than upgrade, if wrong then correct my mistakes?

life sucks as we aged, this i agree only 50/50Originally posted by dragg:it does not hurt to enjoy while you are young. i dont mean to be pessimistic but you never know if you will wake up tomorrow.
i believe that life sucks more and more with age.
I agree, but before i can plan the solutions, i first need to identify the problems, before i can solve my own problems. Identify and solve it.Originally posted by Isis:r u worryin abit too much? volunteerismOriginally posted by Isis:mmm with regard to your last few sentences, go join a volunteerism organisation. There are many unfortunate people out there whom need help and yet no one helping. So wana take up there challenge? Require commitment and efforts.
Don't expect people to be grateful to you even if you help them for free.
In the first place, they have no obligation to be grateful to you.
And if they don't want to be helped. Respect that and their boundary. Sometime, they have their own thinking which u might not understand...
Whether are u a hypocrite or not, as long ur intention is true. Time will tell everythings. People will notice in the long run that your intention is sincere. Thus there isn't really a overly-concerned abt hw u shld worry how others think of u...
Yes life is fragile.. sometime we need a wake-up call to remind us to treasure what is truly important in us.
What is happiness to you then ?
There long list of u.. reinforce the negativity in life..
How about listing out a list that you should be grateful to?
Have u done a good deed or something agreedable to someone?
Have you say " i love you to some one that matter/hug them ".
Since life is short, it is too short to spend time to be overly-concerned over litte argument and differences. Too little to be prudish and busily brooding; and fail to notice the good things in life... letting it pass u by when everythings will be too late. Since life is short and fragile, so the more u should love the people around u more.
On the other, suffering make one be stronger and wiser. It is not a bad thing too.

i'm not stucked in the past experiences, but just want to recall all the past experiences that i went through to let me and maybe those who wants to know how life is about in the eyes of a negative perspective.Originally posted by Bontakun:This is a juggle between "stuck in the past" and "ignoring the past". How to tell when you are stuck too deep in the past experiences or totally ignoring it and moving on? By how you respond to future scenarios.
