well, I was useless compare to their child.
All Top in their School. 1 dude went to SAP school.

TS, ask ur mum abt the faults u have made or quote some eg of ur uselessness and reason out with her.
if stil cannot, then u compare her to ur fren's mum lor.

Mom always try to compare us siblings.
Most times, she tries to convince us to forgive each siblings faults & whatever nonsense she will cook up stories to us.
Then we kids hates each other.
Then now, we find out, that our mother is just playing us kids against each other, while she keeps trying to harp on us to 'love each other'.
Anyway, she is not very belivable in the siblings love issues since she is herself a major unreasonable hater of her own elder sister who didnt marry well but manages to do well herself.
3rd aunt marries just a simple man, has 4 kids. most of them grads and she pulls the family together and has a small successful hardware shop.
Mom was intensely jealous of her own sister and forever trying to blame all faults on that Aunt. -
until now my parents still said i m useless, even tho my pay is the money that keeps my family surviving now, it is the money that is used to pay for their food, the house bills, the car bills, etc...
so no matter how successful you are, i guess parents will always have a higher expectation. even now my parents always complain how come i never earn at least 3k ++ a month. even when i tell them it is not really possible since it is in msia and i just graduated earlier this year, they dun believe me.
so just try to filter out their words and as long as you believe in ur own abilities, that's okie -

Be thankful you have some one to harp you.
Because when one day Death takes your parents away, like he did to my mum, you would suddenly wish that she's still around, still scolding you, still nagging. -
Even when you're in your 30s, or when you are some successful chap, mothers will still nag. That's life.
Learn how to tune out, or channel that frustration into proving her wrong.
